Naomi Duff  MSc (MBACP)

I believe that everyone deserves to be heard and should be given space to process difficult feelings.  I’m passionate about helping people realise their unique value and equipping them to manage stress and anxiety.

My Counselling experience covers statutory, community and voluntary sectors.  I also have over 20 years experience working in a wellbeing capacity, this has included supporting adults and young people through: crisis intervention, one to one mentoring and teaching wellbeing workshops.

My Story

I grew up in Northern Ireland but have lived and worked in various cross cultural contexts.  I  worked in Chad, Africa, for 10 years and started a Christian Wellbeing Centre there to provide Counselling and holistic support to vulnerable and exploited women and their children.

As a Christian I am happy to incorporate spiritual support and reflection into therapy sessions for anyone who would like that.  At the same time, I am committed to providing a respectful, non-judgemental service to clients from all backgrounds and beliefs.

I will not impose my beliefs on anyone and I aim to create a safe and inclusive space where each individual feels valued and understood.

Alongside my own healing journey from burn out and traumatic stress, I’ve been privileged to witness incredible transformation in others, especially those whom society had written off.  It is humbling and a genuine honour for me to walk alongside people as they journey towards hope and healing.
