Noreen Reid

I am a mother and grandmother, and I will usually be the first welcoming face that people see when they arrive at The Cove. For me, being part of The Cove is a precious opportunity to welcome people to a place where they will not be judged but will feel valued and supported. My ambition is to reflect the same love, grace and mercy to others that God has shown to me.

My Story

Life has been full of ups and downs, and I can empathise with people who are in a dark place as I have been in the depths of despair myself. I have learned many lessons through adversity and realise that life isn’t always black and white or in neat boxes. I believe it is important to have somewhere like The Cove which offers safety, confidentiality and the hope of healing and restoration to those of all faiths or none.

In my spare time I enjoy outdoor activities, no matter the weather. I love to laugh, engage in sports and play games (which is when my competitive side comes out!) I love music and singing in choirs and live in hope that any duff notes I hit will be drowned out by others! I enjoy travelling, meeting new people and having new experiences but as a child of God, my first love is Him and the people He puts across my path.
