Ally Bennett
I am passionate about working for organisations that make a genuine difference in people’s lives—so it’s an honour to be part of the fantastic team at The Cove. I have had a long career in administrative roles, including 17yrs with Guide Dogs NI in a Business Support capacity and 3 years as a senior level PA in a local charity. I love meeting new people and playing a professional support role within teams, helping others do their jobs efficiently and feel valued and supported.
My Story
I am married to Mark and we have two gorgeous, adult girls. Throughout my journey, particularly as a mum (and many times as a line manager), I have seen the importance of the provision of high quality, tailored support for people at all stages and walks of life. I have needed that support many times myself but also to signpost and help others navigate through difficult and sometimes desperate seasons. I could not navigate these without the hope I have in a God who knows, cares for and provides for each of his children.
Outside work I help lead a church home group where I’m privileged to ‘do life’ with others, often walking alongside them through sensitive and painful times as well as the joy and excitement.
Amid the busyness of life, I try to create regular time for headspace and other great passions—like being a Golden retriever mum, singing in choirs, walking, running, playing piano, building Lego, running a little community library….and enjoying a good book 😊.
